Those lips, those eyes, that face.

When it comes to money, I always seem to think in terms of  "Ouu, that would make a gorgeous picture" as appose to "I should probably be saving my money"... I just had to buy the red lipstick... Or my Dad just had to buy the red lipstick for me :)

He Was Nothing But Happy

He also wasn't supposed to be running with that stick...
But still, very happy!

A Boy to Remember.

London. He is the best at the no laughing trick. The best at making sure I don't get a second of rest. The best at making sure I finish with 500 shots. He's my favourite dragon slaying, castle building, rock climbing explorer. A photographer's dream.

I shot their family earlier this summer. Now it's time for fall pictures! I'll have more of my favourites soon. Sadly, this is probably my last shoot seeing green for the next few months. But thankyou very much to Mum and Dad.

Christine & Nathan

Here is the lovely lay-a-dee Christine, and her soon to be husband, Nathan. I did their engagement pictures this past weekend. It may be weird to post five pictures in the exact same spot. Buttheywereallsocute!

Not only was it my first time shooting at this gorgeous place in Ancaster, the Hermitage, but my first time shooting a couple on horses. To top it all off a group of people rode over on 6 horses trying to get a group picture. So Nathan schemingly asked if he could help with the picture :) and then politely if Christine and himself could get on the horses.

I was tempted to put them in black and white, but with that hot pink scarf I couldn't...

Beautiful Family, Beautiful People

This beautiful family of four being, Mum, Dad, Kevis and, Marsaia. Mum and Marsaia are just gorgeous. Kevis is all boy and all of two years that he is. He's his fathers boy. I think every time I photograph children, I just love it more and more. I'll have the rest of my favourites up as soon as I finish proofing the session.

I think Kevis has a stick in his hand in most of the shots, so cute..

Here are the rest of my favourites...

A Jalopy, as they would call it.

On our way up to Bancroft there's a little white church i've been dying to photograph this girl in front of. Just so happens that on our way up this time, there was an old 1938 vintage, french Citroen . Which makes for a lovelier background, a lovelier subject and, a lovelier picture.

Because of my family, that's oh so eager to stand around well I shoot for a minute, that can turn into a hour.. They put me on a time limit of 10 minutes! Two pictures in 10 minutes, with everyones favourite harsh mid day lighting. How did I do?

Crisp Linens.

On Saturday afternoon we attended Little Miss, or no longer little, Kristy's becoming of eight. With cake, presents, and turkey! It was all events in one day. Which means, were all just extra thankful for her that day. She was very proud of her silver coin purse, which held twenty five in counting loonies, glitter craft (her Mum was even more thrilled about that), high school musical game and books. But if anyone asked her what her best, favourite and most amazing present was of becoming eight, she'd tell you she no longer has to sit in her car seat. She truly is no longer our little Kristy. Happy birthday!

And a picture for the post.. Mmm, don't you just love clean laundry :) one of the many on my thankful for list. Including having photoshop working and back again. I'll have the rest of the girls shoot sometime this coming week, along with some more shoots. Happy Thanksgiving!

One, two, three, four, five, six.. Seven!

So Sunday, was the long awaited shoot. My first session of this fall season. Actually, my first fall session ever. And my first session with seven girls! All lovely seven being, Brandy, Jennie, Lisa, Kristy, Brooke, Kristel and including little Emma, who's here and there, with her long blonde hair, big blue eyes and rosy cheeks. If I had previously mentioned that an earlier shoot was the most fun I had had. Well, I take it back. Does anything beat seven girls?? Here are some of the shots, so far my favourites. But that always quickly changes.

Her Again.

I love the way she scrunches her nose when she laughs. All the more adorable. Aren't the colours just gorgeous?

Cinderella and the Ballerina.

My favourite sisters! Kalei and Kiera. You will also meet little miss Kendra, the youngest of the three, later on. Here's just a few of my favourite shots from the day. They brought the most adorable dress up costumes along with them. They were so eager to put them on! Their Mum had to bribe them with the costumes for their smiles :)

I'll be back with lots more from this shoot and some others. I'll try to start posting pictures frequently again. Summers leaving. Which means less sun flare to play with, and less colours to pop! So I'm trying to keep up with all the editing I need to do and the lack of time!

Thanks so much to Connie for letting me spend the morning with the girls! Enjoy..
